L08. Plan with Gemini and open Antigravity

You will plan the start of three projects and save project-list.txt. Allow about 45 minutes. Prepare a personal Google Account, a browser and about-me.txt. Use Gemini for the main exercise; Antigravity on Windows is an optional way to create a file.

In class

The teacher asks Gemini to turn a note into three first actions. Together, distinguish advice from a completed step and identify the result you could see after each planned action.

Choose a place for the task

Gemini names Google’s model family and its conversational application. In Antigravity, an agent can work with project files. A shared Google Account provides sign-in, but does not automatically transfer files and conversations between these products.

Your first conversation

• Open gemini.google.com. Select Sign in and choose your personal Google Account from Lesson 5. Access through a work or school account may depend on its administrator. [F216]
• Open about-me.txt in Notepad. Press Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C, to copy all its lines.
• Enter the prompt below, paste the copied text with Ctrl+V and select the send arrow.

Use these details to plan the start of three projects.
For each, give just one first action taking 20 minutes
and name its visible result. Do not suggest payment
or publication. Format: three numbered items.
Details:

> [RESULT] The three items might produce a personal page heading, three tasks for My Day and a desk prepared for filming. Each has an observable result, rather than an instruction to “understand things better”.

If the answer gives ten steps, clarify: “Keep one first action for each of the three projects.” Copy the final three items into Notepad and save Documents\AI-practice\project-list.txt.

Your first Antigravity task

This optional example depends on account and regional availability. Antigravity’s official FAQ describes a free tier for personal accounts and requires users to be at least 18. When signing in, check your quota: the amount of work your plan allows. [F218]

• Open antigravity.google/docs/getting-started, follow the download link and install Antigravity App for Windows. Launch it and sign in with Google. [F217]
• Select New Project, then Add Folder. Choose Documents\AI-practice and select Create. [F217]
• Type the task below and press Enter. If asked where to run it, choose Local to work in the attached folder. [F217]

The official Antigravity App 2.0 capture from 19 May 2026 shows 1, the Language Learner project, and 2, Local. Check your own learning project’s name; this exercise does not need New Worktree.

Read about-me.txt. Create project-list-agent.txt
with three lines: the name of each planned project
and one first action taking 20 minutes.
Do not change existing files.

The different filename preserves project-list.txt. Review any requested permissions, then open the new file through File Explorer and compare plans. Wording may vary; the projects should match.

Home practice

• Open project-list.txt and choose the project you want to start first. Create AI-practice\one-step-home.txt in Notepad, recording one action you expect to finish in about ten minutes and its intended result. Clarify it in an available chat if needed.
• Carry out the action and add what you actually obtained: a heading, a list or a prepared space. Compare intention with result. Preserve the original plan; homework does not require Antigravity.

Self-test

• You sign into Gemini and Antigravity with one Google Account. Does this give Gemini access to AI-practice?
• Why does the agent’s result use a different filename?
• What should you do if Antigravity is unavailable for your account?
